Which types of customers do you help most?
The majority of my clients are mortgage related, first-time buyers, product transfers and remortgages. Some have cover in place and some don’t. Either way, I look at making sure they have the right cover, fitting their current needs, and ensuring I support them every step of the way.
What has been your most significant success story since joining PRIMIS?
My focus on building strong, collaborative relationships with mortgage advisers to support their customers’ protection needs effectively. These partnerships enable me to provide ongoing support, ensuring that customers feel secure, well-informed, and confident in every protection decision they make. Through this approach, I strive to create a seamless, supportive experience that prioritises the clients’ long-term security and peace of mind.
What challenges did you face early in your career, and
how did you overcome them?
Acquiring customers initially presented the most significant challenge. I overcame this by fostering strong relationships with mortgage advisers. Developing these connections has been essential, as it allows me not only to expand my network but also to establish trust—both with customers and industry professionals. By prioritising relationship-building and trust, I’ve been able to create a reliable referral network and establish a reputation for delivering excellent service. This approach has proven invaluable for long-term growth and client satisfaction.
How do you build lasting relationships with your customers?
By building rapport and finding common ground, not being pushy, providing a friendly and safe environment to speak, always making it clear that this is an ongoing relationship, and that they can come back to me whenever they need too.
What message would you like to share with new brokers
who have recently joined PRIMIS?

- Make sure to get yourself out there and network where you can.
What tips would you share on navigating the current market landscape?
Be patient. In a market that’s always changing, patience is key. The market will always rise and fall.
I enjoy the environment I work in. Embracing the flexibility and freedom that comes with my role, it’s a career that gives me the space to prioritise family, while making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I am passionate about ensuring my customers have the right protection, tailored to their needs, no matter their circumstances. A lot of my customers have faced unexpected challenges, such as health issues or personal challenges. This makes finding them the right cover essential for their peace of mind, and mine.
